Job Title: General Liability Associate
Salary: $115,000 - $175,000 + annual bonus
Location: Manhattan OR White Plains, NY
Our client, one of the nation's most recognized defense litigation firms, is seeking a General Liability Associate to join their White Plains, NY office. With close to 50 years in the industry, they have grown to include 44 offices with over 1,200 attorneys and no plans on pausing growth. With ample room to manage your own caseload and gain hands on litigation and trial expertise, this is a great opportunity for an Associate with prior experience in general, premises, or product liability.
Responsibilities
1. Handle depositions and regular court appearances
2. Manage a steady caseload including general liability, transportation liability, insurance defense, and construction cases.
3. Communicate directly with clients, providing timely updates.
Qualifications:
1. JD from an ABA approved school
2. Admitted to practice in New York State
3. 3+ years of experience in defense litigation
4. Exposure to construction matters including general liability, premise liability NYS Labor Law 240, 241, & 200, or insurance defense
