What You'll Do:
As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll be involved in the hands-on assembly and light repair of our heavy-duty waste equipment. You'll work closely with a skilled team to ensure each machine meets our high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble various components for ACE Equipment waste compactors
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment repairs
- Operate forklifts (preferred but not required - we'll train the right person)
- Use mechanical skills and tools to troubleshoot and ensure functionality
- Follow assembly instructions and deadlines
- Work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs
What We're Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Ability to adapt to changes and meet production deadlines
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
- Metal fabricating background
- Forklift operation experience
- Experience troubleshooting or repairing mechanical equipment
