General Laborer - Truss Factory

Location: South Valley, Albuquerque, NM

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd shifts available

Employer: Onin Staffing, hiring for a client in Albuquerque

This is an entry-level position responsible for performing repetitive assembly tasks to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

• Assemble products by placing parts in specified relationships.
• Fasten components using bolts, clips, screws, or cement.
• Cut materials to specific measurements as needed.
• Remove defective products from production lines.
• Operate machines for force fitting or fastening operations.
• Rotate between workstations based on production needs.
• Adapt to tasks as different product models are manufactured.
• Maintain a clean work environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

• No formal education or previous experience required.
• Prior carpentry experience is helpful but not necessary.

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Problem-solving skills for simple, standardized situations.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

The position requires physical stamina, including standing, lifting, and repetitive motions. Employees must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
