Seeking both a talented General Cardiology Physician and an Electrophysiology Cardiology Physician to Join the Section of Cardiology in Omaha, Nebraska.
Position Information
The VA Omaha Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting to fill two Board Certified Staff physician positions, one in Non-Interventional General Cardiology with board certification (BE considered) and the other an Electrophysiology Cardiologist for our growing cardiology section. The candidates will have an opportunity to participate in clinical teaching of medical students. The selected candidates will report to the Chief of Cardiology, Dr. Janardhana Gorthi. The Omaha Division is an acute, highly affiliated, tertiary care facility. The Omaha facility provides inpatient, medical, surgical and psychiatric care in addition to its ambulatory care services; the Omaha Division is also home to major clinical research programs.
You are invited to consider joining the team at the VA Omaha Medical Center, providing care for the world's best patients. You should be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology and a US citizen with current US licensure (any state) with no history of revocations or suspension. Permanent Residents may be considered if no US citizen is selected.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Night and weekend hours are not currently scheduled, however, full-time physicians are employed on a 24/7 basis

- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Board Certification in Cardiology needed (and Electrophysiology if applying for this position) but Board Eligibility may also be considered. Board certification in Internal Medicine is also preferred.
