Position Details
- Practice setting: Hospital-based (may rarely oversee CRNAs at the ASC)

- EMR: Cerner (transitioning to EPIC), some paper documentation
- Average surgical cases per day: 1 cardiac (not daily), 5 7 general
- Number of anesthesiologists: 6
- Patient age demographic: Adolescent, child, adult, geriatric
- Very sick children are referred elsewhere
- Number of ORs: 8 in use at one time
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 8 12 weeks
- Facility will accept multiple providers: Yes

Submissions Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active IA license or IMLC
- TEE certified (must read, interpret, and bill TEE procedures)
- Iowa CSR
- DEA
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- COVID vaccinated

Skill Requirements
- Cardiac anesthesia
- TEE interpretation and billing
- General anesthesia coverage when no cardiac cases scheduled
- Comfortable working with CRNA students
