As a Gastroenterologist at Midstate Gastroenterology Specialists PC, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system. Your duties will include performing endoscopic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, consulting with patients to determine appropriate treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Practice Highlights:
- Outpatient endoscopy center and in-house pathology lab
- Multiple satellite locations covering a wide geographic base
- Affiliated with Midstate Medical Center, a 156-bed hospital, where our primary office is located
- Support from three experienced midlevel providers and a dedicated administrative staff
- Call schedule of 1:4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient consultations and medical examinations
- Performing diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and biopsies
- Interpreting test results and making accurate diagnoses
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient s needs
- Monitoring patients progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
- Participating in departmental meetings, conferences, and continuing medical education activities
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- State medical license and DEA registration
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
