GCP Design Lead

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the GCP Design Lead:

- Lead the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions on GCP, including BigQuery, ETL processes, and BI tools.
- Develop and maintain technical architectures, design diagrams, and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Present design proposals and technical architectures to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure best practices and standards are followed in the development and deployment of GCP solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills for GCP Design Lead:

- 10-15 years of overall experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and data analytics.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in BigQuery, ETL, and BI services.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating detailed design diagrams and technical documentation.
- Relevant certifications in GCP are a plus.
