We are seeking a talented GCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, networking, security, and automation. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure our cloud infrastructure and services meet business needs and comply with security standards.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain modular cloud-based systems using GCP services such as VertexAI, BigQuery, and Private Google Access (PGA).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and enforce security best practices, including firewalls and ACLs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate processes.
- Support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Provide cloud support and recommendations based on client requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Qualifications:- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Splunk.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Jenkins, Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of GCP services and solutions, including VertexAI, Google API Services, BigQuery, and PGA.
- Solid grasp of cloud architecture, networking concepts, and design principles.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with Palo Alto network security solutions.
- GCP certifications.
- Knowledge of Private Google Access (PGA) and its implementation.
$75-$100/hr (depending on experience)
