Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity - Tyler, TexasOutpatient GI Lab No Call IMLC Accepted
Position Overview:A facility in Tyler, TX is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for outpatient-only locum coverage. This is a no-call position with a Monday-Friday schedule, focused exclusively on GI screenings in a stroke-certified, trauma-level I hospital.
Position Details:
• Start Date: ASAP - ongoing need
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Need a provider than can do at least 2-weeks/months each month for next 6 months. APP will do result notifications with patients
• No call required
• Outpatient only - GI lab screenings
• Patient Volume: 15-17 per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level I facility, Stroke Certified
• Multiple providers accepted
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology - required
• Active Texas medical license or IMLC - accepted
• Fellowship trained - preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications - required
