Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology.
  • Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations and follow-ups.
  • Participate in scheduled clinical hours, including beeper call duties.
  • Manage patient encounters effectively, with an average of 12 patients per shift.
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform hospital privileges as required, facilitating smooth patient admissions and discharges.
  • Respond to call duties within a required 20-minute response time.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology is required.
  • Fellowship training in Gastroenterology is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Effective communication abilities for collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Valid Washington State medical license or eligibility for privileges.
License and Certification Requirements
  • Active medical license in the state of Washington.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology.
  • Hospital privileges required for practice setting.
