Gastroenterology Physician

Locums - Silverdale. Washington, Gastroenterologist Job (IMLC Welcome) Clinical Role:

•  Dates of Coverage:
•  7/11-17
•  8/8-14
•  9/19-25
•  10/17-23
•  11/21-27
•  12/26-1/1
•  Locum will need to get oriented prior to first shift
•  Monday -Friday 8-5pm - Call weeknights - 24 hr. weekends
•  On-site - 8-5pm - inpatient rounding, procedures, and on call
•  Off-site - after hours - holding the pager and responding to GI urgent needs
•  Setting: No Clinic
•  Required Procedures: EGD and Colonoscopy
•  Average of procedures/day: 6-8
•  Do you require locums to perform ERCP or EUS? Preferably ERCP
•  Rounding required
•  Patient types: GI Endoscopy patients, adults, inpatients, on call patients
•  EMR: Epic
•  Support Staff: nursing staff
•  Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage
•  They do a mix of both, primarily Anesthesia does MAC, occasional Nurse Conscious Sedation
•  Hospitalists admits to inpatient and GI consults
•  Must be Board Certified
•  State License - WA
•  IMLC in hand and uploaded
•  Gastroenterology fellowship completed
•  ACLS, BLS, DEA Required
