Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) for a locum tenens position in Petoskey, Michigan. This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality GI care in a well-supported and scenic healthcare setting.
Position: Locum MD/DO Gastroenterologist
Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations and procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies
Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions
Collaborate with surgeons, primary care physicians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Provide follow-up and education to patients on chronic GI conditions and treatment plans
Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology (MD/DO)
Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain
Proficient in general GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
Strong diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills
BLS and ACLS certifications required
