Job Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 20 weeks of GI inpatient service coverage on a 7-day assignment (Thursday 5 PM to Thursday 5 PM).
- Perform inpatient procedures and provide inpatient consultations and rounding.
- Participate in a call rotation, covering 2 out of 5 weeks per year while permanent replacements are being recruited.
- Respond to call as needed with an average call response time of 60 minutes.
- Manage an average of 25 patient encounters per shift, including consultation and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Experience in inpatient settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active medical license (temporary privileges may be available).
- Board Certification required.
