Gastroenterology Physician

Locums - Kingsport, Tennessee, Gastroenterology (Float Pool) Opening Clinical Role:

•  Start: 4/25/25
•  Coverage needed per month: Alternating floating call between facilities every other week (one facility per week, alternating)
•  Frequency of any Call needed: 24hr call required for each day within confirmation
•  Schedule Details: starts Monday 7am EST - ends Monday 7am EST, to include 6-8 hours of patient contact either rounding or procedures
•  Support staff: Supporting OR and in-house Endo nurses
•  Department Description: Endo Suite or Main OR/Endo Suite
•  Patient Volume: Consult volume varies. Average surgical volume per day of 24hr call = 5-6 procedures; average bed capacity = 350
•  Patient Age Group: Mostly adults, may have some younger
•  EMR: EPIC
•  EMR/Documentation system experience - Preferred
•  Special Procedures/Unit Details: Well Experienced in all General GI and ERCP Cases and Procedures
•  Special Equipment Used: Olympus equipment (more information provided upon request)
•  Board Certified Gastroenterologist
•  TN License or IMLC Required before confirming dates
•  ACLS / BLS Required
•  ERCP Required, do not need to be fellowship trained but preferred in Advanced Endoscopists fellowship
•  CSR: Preferred
•  TN DEA Required
•  Well Experienced in all General GI and ERCP Cases and Procedures
•  Are vaccines mandatory: Certain exemptions are taken with proper medical documentation
•  Willing To License
