SCHEDULE :
Beginning May hospital-focused coverage needed for the first 2 to 3 weeks of each month
JOB DESCRIPTION :
366 licensed beds (400+ total)
Setting: Hospital + Emergency Department (with potential outpatient clinic for post-procedure follow-ups)
Duties: Inpatient consults, upper and lower endoscopy, ERCP; possible limited outpatient follow-ups
Days per month: 14-21 days
Required Procedures: Upper endoscopy, lower endoscopy, ERCP (EUS also available)
EMR: CERNER
Support Staff: IR and Anesthesia available 24/7
Reason for Coverage: One of the physician groups that provided GI services terminated their call agreement, leaving a significant coverage gap.

E.D.: Approx. 60 beds, sees patients/day
GI's average consults/day
Average 4 5 procedures/day
Procedures may include a mix of inpatient and outpatient to fill schedule
Full service GI suites including ERCP and EUS
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS :
Board Certified(Gastroenterology) - REQUIRED
NV state license OR IMLC - REQUIRED
Residency/Fellowship - REQUIRED
ACLS, BLS, DEA - REQUIRED
Malpractice Clean Preferred
