Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to lead a growing practice in eastern North Carolina.

- Full-time, employed position
- Successful candidate will serve as chief of the Division of Gastroenterology
- Growing physician-led private not for profit healthcare system

- Opportunity to lead an active GI service inclusive of an outpatient clinic, ASC, inpatient endoscopy suite, and will assist with oversight of regional gastroenterology services
- Applicants should have a desire to foster a collaborative teaching and research environment between fellows and faculty and have a proven record of clinical leadership
- Established practice with 9 experienced gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
- State of the art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post procedure bays
- Inpatient support by GI hospitalist program
- Opportunity to participate and lead recruitment efforts, quality initiatives, strategic growth, and provider development
- Protected weekly procedure days
- Procedures will include general gastroenterology cases with support from three advanced endoscopists
- Ability to teach and to be supported by the Gastroenterology Fellowship program that includes 6 fellows as well as residents
- Full motility study program
- Large referral network
