Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to lead a growing practice in eastern North Carolina.

Highlights include:

  • Successful candidate will serve as chief of the Division of Gastroenterology

  • Opportunity to lead an active GI service inclusive of an outpatient clinic, ASC, inpatient endoscopy suite, and will assist with oversight of regional gastroenterology services
  • Applicants should have a desire to foster a collaborative teaching and research environment between fellows and faculty and have a proven record of clinical leadership
  • Established practice with 9 experienced gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
  • State of the art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post procedure bays
  • Inpatient support by GI hospitalist program
  • Opportunity to participate and lead recruitment efforts, quality initiatives, strategic growth, and provider development
  • Protected weekly procedure days
  • Procedures will include general gastroenterology cases with support from three advanced endoscopists
  • Ability to teach and to be supported by the Gastroenterology Fellowship program that includes 6 fellows as well as residents
  • Full motility study program
