Gastroenterologist Position - Columbus, Ohio
Join a dynamic and growing Gastroenterology practice located just 15 minutes from downtown Columbus, Ohio. You ll find a collaborative team approach along with dedicated support to enhance your practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Practice on one hospital campus.
- Blend of outpatient office, endoscopy, and inpatient coverage.
- Join a large, established referral base within a medical group and community partners.
- Provide consultative hospital services.
- Enjoy dedicated APP support.
- Work in a patient-centered, team-based environment.
- Utilize EMR - EPIC for patient management.
- Perform onsite lab and x-ray consultations.
- Participate in a call schedule with a ratio of 1:4.
- Advanced Endoscopy training is preferred but not required.
- Full-time, permanent position, possibly requiring residency in the local area.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Preferred.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology - Required.
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) - Required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications - Required.
- Advanced Endoscopy training - Preferred.
- 3-5 years of outpatient Gastroenterology experience - Preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Ohio license or be willing to obtain one.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
