Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Opportunity - Lakewood, Colorado (IMLC Accepted)Flexible Scheduling Competitive Pay Premier Level 1 Trauma Center

Position Highlights:

• Inpatient consult-only role at a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma Center

• Provide a full spectrum of GI services: scoping, ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, GI bleed management, and GI evaluations

• Flexible schedule: 5-7 days per month, 24-hour call shifts

• No admissions; consult service only

• Work alongside 24/7 hospitalists, intensivists, and trauma services

• July 28-30

• September 30 - October 11

• November 2-14

• December 1-7

• December 23 - January 6

• Ongoing dates starting January 2025 (details available mid-July 2025)

Note: These dates are not available to currently privileged providers; coverage is to backfill for scheduled provider breaks.

Clinical Details:

• EMR: EPIC (training modules must be completed prior to virtual training and first shift)

• Average volume: 8-10 consults/follow-ups per day; 5-8 scopes per day

• Patient population: Adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (15+ years old, 50+ kg); no pediatric admits

• Support staff: None directly assigned

• Setting: Inpatient only

• Trauma, hospitalist, and intensivist services available 24/7

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required)

• Active Colorado license preferred; IMLC accepted

• Active DEA license

• Proficiency with EPIC
