Our client in Jefferson County, CO is in need of a Gastroenterologist for a locum assignment.

Job details:

Dates - July 8-14 / July 31-Aug 2 / Aug 26 -Sep 4 / Sept 30-Oct 11 / Oct 19-25 / Nov 2-14 / Nov 25-30 / Dec 1-12 / Dec 23-Jan 6
24 hour call Mon-Sun
5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025.
Setting: Inpatient
Level 1 Trauma
Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: None
Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage and locum requiring breaks June/July/Aug 2025

Job Requirements:

Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required
Active CO License - Highly Preferred
Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
Candidate must detail what specific dates they are able to help cover through Jan 6, 2026 - Required
Candidates must be able to perform ERCP and EUS and required to note in presentation - Required
Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date -Required
Local/drive-in candidates - Highly Preferred, will place providers who are local as a Tier 1 provider.
Gastroenterology Fellowship - Required
Clean Malpractice/background - Required for February stints - Candidates with self inquiry NPDB report will be placed with priority over those that dont present with it.
Clean MP/background - Highly preferred, candidates with self inquiry NPDB report will be placed with priority over those that dont present with it.
