This position focuses on hospital call coverage only,with no outpatient responsibilities. The provider will be expected to cover aminimum of 7 days per month, with call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
As aLocums Gastroenterology Physician, your responsibilities will includehospital-based consults and procedures as needed. You will be required to roundon patients admitted to the floors as well as those seen in the emergencydepartment (ED). Rounding is anticipated to take approximately 1-2 hours perday during your on-call shifts.
Theprocedures required for this position include colonoscopy,esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), with preferred experience in ERCP, andpercutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement.
Qualifications: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Pennsylvania State License required (IMLC accepted)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ERCP experience preferred
