- Additional Info: As an integral member of our team, you will collaborate with our Gastroenterologists to provide direct patient care, perform new GI inpatient consultations, communicate patient status and outcomes with PCPs. You will also participate in the care of hospitalized patients that require GI consultation, procedures, and follow-up.Responsibilities include:- Obtaining detailed and accurate histories, performing physical examinations, identifying problems, recording information, and interpreting information to determine a plan of care for patients- Documenting all aspects of patient visits through EMR- Rounding on the inpatient gastroenterology service at the hospital- Providing comprehensive care to outpatients in a professional, courteous, effective, and prompt manner, as well as promptly addressing patient phone callsQualifications:- Current New Jersey State PA License - Minimum 1-year experience in Gastroenterology
