Gastroenterology Physician Needed in Lewistown/State College, PA
Full-Time/Permanent Position
Location: Lewistown, PA / State College, PA
Position Overview:
Join a stable team of 8 Gastroenterologists and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
High-volume practice with services including interventional endoscopy and hepatology
Fully integrated into Health System with robust electronic health records (EPIC)
Opportunities for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, and participation in clinical and endoscopic research
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, including embedded pharmacists assisting in the management of Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Work closely with skilled specialists in Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Oncology
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania
Skills in patient care, procedural skills, systems-based practice, and professional etiquette
