Locums - Gastroenterology - Outpatient - Rockport, ME
Why This Role?
- Weeklong blocks available monthly through 2026
- No call, no weekends, outpatient-only schedule
Duration : August 2025 - December 2026
Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Schedule/Coverage Need : Monday - Friday, 8-hour days with 30-minute lunch; 1 week/month minimum
Opportunity Highlights :
- Adult outpatient gastroenterology
- 14-16 patients per day in clinic
- Endoscopic procedures performed in OR
- Epic EMR
- Onsite lab and X-ray
- Full OR support staff, including anesthesiologist and CRNA
- No ERCP or advanced procedures required (but welcomed)
- Specific weeks requested from August through December
Requirements :
- Board certification/eligibility: Yes
- Active state license: Yes (ME or willing to obtain)
- ACLS
- BLS
- Clean history
Skills Needed :
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Banding of varices
- Diagnostic upper endoscopy
