Coverage Need
- Assignment Dates: ASAP - 9/1/2025
- Schedule: Call Only
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient
- Patients Per Shift: 11-13
- Admissions: 1-4
- EMR System: Epic
- Facility Will Accept Multiple Providers: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Work 7 days starting Fridays at 5pm through Fridays at 5pm or Mondays 7am to
- Average census is 10-12 patients on service per day; average 1 add on procedure per day; 1-2 call backs per week for urgent/emergency cases.
- Weekday expectations include outpatient/inpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, ED patient/provider guidance
- Weekend expectations include urgent/emergency inpatient/outpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, ED patient/provider guidance.

- Procedures Required:
- Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices)
- PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
- Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible & Rigid)
- Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp)

Submissions Requirements
- PA License Required
- Board Certified
- Clean History
- ACLS & BLS

Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Required GI Procedures
- Ability to Handle Both Inpatient & Outpatient Cases
- Comfortable with Call Responsibilities
