Locums Gastroenterologist - Johnstown, PA
Pittsburgh 1 hour, 4 hours to Philly

Dates: ASAP to Ongoing
Rate: $440/hour. Negotiable (tell us your rate)

Coverage Need
- Outpatient - no call
- Monday-Friday: GI Lab (8 AM - 4 PM)

Position Details
- Setting: Outpatient
- Procedures Required:
- Upper GI Endoscopy (including biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal injection)
- Lower GI Endoscopy (Colonoscopy with biopsy/polypectomy, Sigmoidoscopy)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry
- Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
- Small bowel biopsy
- Additional Procedures (Preferred):
- ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Patients Per Day: Approx. 10-14 inpatients during weekdays; 5-10 inpatient consults/day during call
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- EMR System: Epic

Submissions Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
- BLS certification required
- Clean history: Yes

Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in all general GI procedures
- ERCP and EUS experience preferred
- Ability to manage consults, rounds, emergencies, and standard GI procedures
