A facility is seeking a GI for locums coverage.
The facility is located in midwestern Kentucky.
This position requires 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM, with documentation done in EPIC. The facility does not have a trauma designation, and credentialing is estimated to take around 90 days. Required procedures include esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy. Upper GI endoscopy types must include diagnostic, with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with banding of varices, and with PEG placement.
