REPORTING: Promotions Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Gameday Promotions Intern will enhance the gameday experience by assisting the execution of on-field promotions and concourse activations while overseeing the Fun Flock and Lou E. Loon during games and community events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Promote and strengthen Great Lakes Loon's brand value of fun, family entertainment, service excellence, and quality in all actions.
- Execute all on-field and in-game promotions as the Fun Flock leader in coordination with the Promotions Manager.
- Help organize and implement promotions and theme nights that create limited edition memories for all Loons fans.
- Assist in the training and supervision of the Loons Fun Flock promotional team.
- Assist with sponsored promotional elements such as Bat Kids, Junior Announcers, Baseball Buddies, etc.
- Coordinate and attend community appearances alongside the Fun Flock and Lou E. Loon.
- Lead by example and create ideas that make the Great Lakes Loons a unique, fun, and rewarding workplace.
- Coordinate with the promotional team to ensure all essential details are communicated for successful gameday operations and community events.
- Support pre-game production meetings and coordinate with the promotions team to ensure seamless execution.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to work in a team environment and lead when called on.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekend, and travel as required for events held at various locations
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the ballpark, including navigating different levels (e.g., accessing dugouts, elevated platforms, or staging areas) and participating in event setup and breakdown.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 25 lbs) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable interacting with fans, sponsors and vendors while presenting in a professional manner
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPIERIENCE - College sophomore or higher pursuing a degree in Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or other related fields. Can receive college credit if needed.
