proven track record in fundraising and
established existing relationships with corporations and foundations in Harris County and Fort Bend County. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our mission by driving the success of our programs, services, and fundraising efforts.
Location of Position: The office is located in Richmond, TX.

Fundraising Director is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program, leveraging existing relationships and creating new partnerships with corporate and foundation donors, shaping and executing strategic development initiatives, and playing a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization and the success of its programs and services. Additionally, this role will plan and execute special events to engage donors and build relationships with community collaborators.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and gifts, corporate sponsors, foundations, and other funding partners.
- Track donor engagement and retention rates, analyze revenue streams, and create data-driven strategic plans that assist the organization in achieving its fundraising goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, and special events.
- Write funding proposals and submit them to potential donors.
- Plan, organize, and execute special events that engage donors and raise funds for the organization.
- Assist with financial planning, manage donor contributions, and ensure funds are used effectively.
- Initiate, build, and maintain relationships with community collaborators including church leaders, other non-profits, corporations, foundations, businesses, and community leaders.
- Oversee grant writing efforts.
- Set goals and expectations, monitor performance, and provide feedback to the team to ensure that fundraising goals are met or exceeded.
- Work closely with the Communications and Programs teams to develop and execute effective donor communications and marketing materials.
- Lead organizational initiatives, standards, guidelines, and team objectives and requirements.
- Assist in planning and forecasting the annual budget.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to the company, CEO, board, employees, donors, and financial data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of administrative experience.
- 8+ years of experience developing and overseeing fundraising programs.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in fundraising, business development, and/or donor relations.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- CFRE is preferred.
