A Brief Overview The Functional Administrator is responsible for managing and providing systems and business process analysis, design and configuration to develop, test and implement complex technological solutions to support assigned processes and systems. While taking into consideration regulations, internal policy and collective bargaining agreements. Provides ongoing system support and training for internal teams and affiliate sites.
What you will do - Oversee and maintain systems, ensuring they are up-to-date, efficient and compliant with relevant regulations and internal policy. Acts as mergers and acquisitions lead.
- Research, analyze and make recommendations for workflow improvements.
- Provide in-person or virtual training, guidance, and support to all Avera sites for business supporting systems and related tools.
- Manage data integration in conjunction with IT between assigned systems and software, ensuring seamless data flow. Review, troubleshoot, and resolve integration errors between vendors as needed.
- Configure software settings to accommodate complex workflows and system automation.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of system upgrades or release updates to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensures projects are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Create, test, and produce advanced reports and analytics to support cross-functional business partners and third-party vendors. Provide all necessary data for analysis and compliance requirements for internal and external business partners while protecting confidential information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical system issues promptly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Responsible for keeping leaders informed of changes and/or updates. Coordinate change management and training as needed.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: - 1-3 years Experience working in related field.
- 4-6 years Experience in application administration, preferably in Workday.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: - Bachelor's in related field
- Experience with systems specific to assigned area of responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of coding and programming language.
