Position Description: CGI is seeking a strong Functional Business Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience in Finance or Human Resources. This candidate should be very comfortable in direct client interactions, an avid learner and self-starter eager to master a new cloud-based public sector ERP platform. This role is critical to the success of our State & Local clients in adapting our industry-leading, built-for-government CGI Advantage platform to the particulars of their work. This position is located in the Northern VA / DC metro area; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: Master the Advantage ERP system. Understand all configurable elements and how these can best be leveraged to our clients advantage. Understand core integrations and workflows. Guide and advise client decision-making to best capitalize on the solutions wide-ranging capabilities. With remarkable attention to detail and clear and concise communication and documentation, elicit and analyze client requirements and participate in the design of functional solutions that align with public sector financial management and/or HR management processes. Understand the operation of a cloud-based solution and how to communicate and convey key elements to clients and prospective clientswhat it means to leverage a shared platform and Software as a Service (SaaS) model, the protections and efficiencies afforded, and more. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure full adoption and integration of the Advantage system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the product group, project or implementation team, and client to conceive, configure and enhance Advantage capabilities. Provide training and documentation to support end users. Capture key decisions and the rationale for the choices made to create a full and clear record for future reference. Troubleshoot issues as needed. In the same spirit, engage our public sector stakeholders in understanding where there is friction in their current business processesover-reliance on manual steps, gaps in integration, or other challenges. Help us help them modernize, advance, and do more with less to impact their various constituencies. Develop a deep understanding of public sector financial or HR regulations and our clients business processes to drive and support compliance. Understand the mechanics of everything from payroll processing and end-of-month/end-of-year critical periods to onboarding processes and logistics. Put yourself in our clients shoes, see their needs through their eyes, and help us help them excel in their service provision. Build and maintain strong client trust and relationships to support successful project outcomes. In all activities, serve as a trusted advisor and proponent for our clients. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 3-5 years of experience working with ERP (e.g., CGI Advantage, CGI Momentum, or other (Oracle, SAP, Workday) as a functional business analyst or consultant. Strong understanding of government processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Deftness in building rapport, trust, and relationships with our end users and stakeholders. Demonstrated proficiency in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows. Comfort coming up to speed quickly on new material, new solutions, and new client environments (e.g., municipalities, schools, statewide agencies). Strong client engagement and meeting management skills. Comfort presenting in in-person and virtual meetings. Clear command of material. Efficient organization (e.g., clear and purposeful agenda, capture of action items and next steps, follow-through on all commitments). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through May 30, 2025. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,300 - $208,300.
