Job Details
ABILITY To
Work independently on an active litigation caseload of approximately 30 cases.
Propound and respond to written discovery.
Draft and respond to pleadings and pre-trial motions, including demurrers, Motions to Quash, Oppositions to Motions for Summary Judgement, Motions to Compel, etc.
Take and defend depositions.
Second chair trials and arbitrations.
Work effectively in a remote work environment.
REQUIRED Skills
Clear communication skills, including ability to listen and pro-actively address issues.
Ability to prioritize litigation workload and flexibility in managing time.
Strong interpersonal skills, including a sense of humor.
Excellent written and organizational skills.
PREFFERRED Skills
2 to 5 years' litigation experience, preferably experience as plaintiff-side litigation attorney
Experience taking and defending depositions, regular court appearances, arguing motions
JD and California Bar License required.
