Job Title: Architectural DrafterJob Description

As an Architectural Drafter, you will work in the Architectural department of an Architectural and Engineering services company. You will perform drafting and modeling work on retail and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit construction documents (CDs).

  • Use AutoCAD to develop architectural details for construction documents.

  • Work on fast-paced projects with turnaround times between 4-8 weeks.

  • Draft and model retail and commercial projects, including restaurant design and retail design.

  • Build construction documents in AutoCAD from files created by site surveys.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in Architecture.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Experience creating and editing construction documents (CDs).

  • Knowledge of architectural concepts and construction details.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with inline construction and remodeling projects.

  • Architectural experience for national chain restaurants and retail stores.

  • Experience doing refits and ground-up projects.

  • Associates degree in drafting is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment. After the initial training and onboarding period, the schedule will be in-office every other Monday and Tuesday, and remote otherwise. If located in the St. Louis region, you will work in the office 2 days every other week (Monday/Tuesday) and remotely the rest of the time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Eligibility begins after the 90 days of employment.Retirement PlanAfter 1 year of continuous employment, Associates are eligible to participate in the companysponsored 401K plan for tax deferred retirement savings. Eligible employees will be able toparticipate in the program on January 1st or July 1st following eligibility.HolidaysArcVision recognizes the 6 major holidays.
