Project Scope: Manage Serve side of the business specifically - work with the vendors to define when they run the campaign and where + commit amount. Once they run the campaign they need to send back metrics to indicate ROI. Overall, they provide an end to end solution for their customer.
They work with the customer
Other side is Sales Serve which is outside of the Walmart platform i.e. Facebook which takes them back to the Walmart side. Coca-Cola decides everything.
This team is building the media planning site, which is under Manage. Determine what platforms the ad goes to (campaign manager is involved). HEAVY amounts of data / reporting.
Team Size & Breakdown: 6 Engineers, 40% FSE / 60% FE/BE
Development Methodology: Agile - 2 weeks sprints - Daily stand-ups
High-Level Individual Duties:
- Still in the greenfield stage w/the app but has a couple product releases
- Net New Feature Development
- Tech Improvement
- No Prod work until 2-3 quarters from now but they will pass off to an L1 team and handle L2/3
