As a Store Receiving Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing receiving, accounting, and distribution tasks for incoming product deliveries across all store teams. Your role will be central in ensuring that both customers and team members receive the top-notch service that Whole Foods Market is known for. You will adhere to our store's Standard Operating Procedures while working collaboratively with your fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities: - Verify incoming products against Purchase Orders and supplier documentation.
- Ensure product quality and integrity by checking temperatures and other necessary parameters.
- Process invoices accurately and keep appropriate records.
- Distribute documentation and invoices to relevant teams.
- Assist with vendor follow-ups on accounts payable matters.
- Support product teams during inventory and financial periods.
- Maintain equipment, including the baler and compactor, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Arrive punctually and uphold standards of appearance and readiness for the workday.
Qualifications: - 12 months of retail experience.
- Previous experience in distribution or receiving is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, counting, and distribution processes.
- Excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic team player.
- Basic computer skills in programs like Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Standing and walking for 6-8 hours a day.
