As a member of our Produce team, you will help create a vibrant shopping experience by receiving and preparing products, maintaining displays, and assisting customers-all while adhering to Whole Foods Market's high standards. Your role will also involve breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring a positive atmosphere within the store. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that displays are fresh and appealing by keeping shelves clean and well stocked, checking dates, rotating products, and removing any out-of-date items.
- Assist the Team Leader in organizing and showcasing seasonal and high-volume products.
- Monitor product spoilage and communicate waste issues to the buying team and supervisors.
- Complete required worksheets for spoilage, sampling, temperatures, and cleanliness.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks.
- Arrive on time and ready to work, maintaining a clean and professional appearance for every shift.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs promptly and effectively while promoting suggestive selling techniques.
- Maximize sales potential through effective product preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
- Adhere to established procedures related to health, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintain a clean working and shopping environment, ensuring equipment is kept up to the Whole Foods Market standards.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring sign and pricing accuracy.
- Report any safety hazards or violations immediately.

- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach during tasks.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
- Willingness to work in both wet and dry environments.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment, including knives and electric pallet jacks.
- May require the use of ladders.
Wage Range: This position offers a wage between $16.00 and $25.40 per hour, dependent on experience.
