As a vital member of the Produce team, you will assist in receiving and preparing products, maintaining an inviting Produce floor and displays, and providing exceptional customer service, all while upholding Whole Foods Market standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that displays are fresh and appealing by keeping cases and shelves clean, stocked, and organized.
- Collaborating with the Team Leader to organize and showcase volume and seasonal items.
- Monitoring for spoilage and communicating any waste concerns with relevant team members.
- Completing spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as necessary.
- Assisting with periodic inventory checks and maintaining punctuality and professionalism in the workplace.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and effectively addressing customer needs.
- Maximizing sales through proper product handling, rotation, stocking, and merchandising techniques.
- Following health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Performing opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of information displayed.
- Reporting safety hazards immediately and performing other duties as requested by leadership.

Experience:
- No prior retail experience is required.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday.
- Engagement in physical activities such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and working in both wet and dry conditions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience in using tools and equipment, such as knives and electric pallet jacks, may be required.
- Use of ladders may be necessary.
