As a Produce Clerk, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for receiving and preparing products, maintaining attractive displays, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will handle deliveries, stock shelves, and perform various duties that adhere to our high standards. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked; rotate and remove out-of-date items.
- Assist in organizing and showcasing volume and seasonal products.
- Monitor for spoilage and communicate findings to team leaders and buyers.
- Complete required documentation for spoilage, sampling, temperatures, and cleanliness.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks as needed.
- Arrive on time, properly groomed, and ready to work for all scheduled shifts and meetings.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs effectively and courteously.
- Maximize sales through effective product prep, storage, and merchandising.
- Follow all established procedures regarding health, safety, and cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean working environment and ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing tasks as assigned, ensuring pricing accuracy.
- Report safety hazards and violations promptly.

- Work with FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and in various temperature environments.
- Ability to work in both wet and dry conditions as necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Use of tools such as knives and electric pallet jacks may be required.
- May need to utilize ladders.
