The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer - Backend Specialization to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Reston, VA. As a Full-Stack Developer, you'll be more than just a coder. You'll be a mentor, guiding junior team members while sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement. Join us and make an impact by developing solutions that solve real-world problems and enhance customer success. 5+ years of experience with software development Experience with back-end development Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript Experience with Node.js JavaScript runtime environment and the Express framework Experience with SQL syntax and queries Experience with API development including REST architectures Knowledge of Agile methodology DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP certification Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Active TS/SCI Clearance Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with developing backend software applications/services 2+ years of experience with developing in a microservices architecture Experience with React, Next.js Experience with testing frameworks and code quality tools, such as Jest and SonarQube Experience with user authentication workflows, including OAuth 2.0 framework and OpenID Connect Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) packages, such as Sequelize Knowledge of JIRA, Git, GitLab Ability to understand user requirements Ability to investigate root causes and provide corrective actions The Red Gate Group, Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
