Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid/on-site senior role for a Full-Stack Software Engineer at ActiveProtective located in Conshohocken, PA. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing both front-end web/mobile applications, machine-learning data pipelines, as well as contributing to and leading the overall software development process. You will own end-to-end development-from backend architecture in AWS to polished user interfaces-ensuring clinicians, caregivers, and internal teams have reliable, intuitive tools to deploy and manage our devices at scale.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field and 5 + years building production-grade full-stack systems.
- Full-Stack Expertise - Proven back-end development skills (Python, Node.js or similar), coupled with front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue or similar) and strong CSS/HTML abilities.
- Cloud Architecture - Hands-on success designing and deploying scalable solutions on AWS cloud platform.
- Problem Solving & Collaboration - Exceptional analytical skills, clear communication, and a track record of effective teamwork and leadership.
- Bonus Skills - Background with wearable/embedded devices/medical devices, mobile development (Flutter etc), experience with Machine-Learning/Deep-Learning pipelines.
