Clearance: Active TS with SCI attainability Modus Operand is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our engineering team. Note - All applicants applying for this job opening must be US citizens. Job Description Modus is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. The bulk of the day to day work is coding and testing in a very agile and collaborative team environment. The selected team member will participate in the development and fielding of full stack software applications within the DoD community. Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• 5 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in the Java programming language
• Proficiency in the front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, jQuery)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills Desired Skills
• Agile Software Development concepts and practice
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Sound software engineering concepts and practice (Object Oriented, UML, CM, and Design Patterns) Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable front-end and back-end components.
• Work with UI/UX designers, AI engineers, and ontology specialists to deliver intuitive, performant user experiences.
• Build RESTful APIs and services that allow secure data flow into and out of the platform.
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and synchronization during intermittent connectivity scenarios.
• Participate in Agile sprint cycles, code reviews, and rapid prototyping.
• Integrate with enterprise systems (e.g., GeoAxis authentication, RDF4J knowledge store, PostgreSQL).
• Contribute to the long-term scalability, security, and modularity of the platform using modern DevSecOps principles. Why Join Us?
