Compensation

• The pay for this position is $48-52 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, hybrid schedule (3 days onsite)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Vue.js, Node.js/Python

• Develop and optimize serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services

• Implement compliance and security mechanisms using AWS IAM

• Improve the enterprise Cloud Platform through implementation of custom preventative and responsive controls

• Collaborate with application teams and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions

• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to infrastructure deployment patterns and best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application security

• Ensure security and compliance best practices are integrated into AWS deployments

• Monitor and optimize AWS costs by applying AWS FinOps principles

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development

• Strong expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2/3), Vuex, Pinia, and Vue Router

• Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Express.js

• Extensive experience with AWS services including Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, and RDS

• Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices

• Experience with modern development workflows, including Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• High School Diploma or GED

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS FinOps principles
