Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full SDCL - analyze, design and code business domain value added solutions, using an Agile programming approach resulting in quick time-to-market software delivery.
  • Lead design discussions and code reviews to ensure high code quality across entire team.
  • Design and execute test cases (manual or automated), and document results.
  • Understand changing priorities and be forward-thinking in context switching.
  • Interact directly with stakeholders and business leaders. Build strong relationships with business and engineering partners, collaborate, and communicate effectively to reach successful outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery and operational synergies.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to help your peers in the research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks (which is vital to support business initiatives).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or another STEM field.
  • 4-10+ years of proven hands-on, full-stack development expertise with both a scripting (e.g., Python) and OOP programming language (e.g., C , Java).
  • 2+ years of experience with investment management platform like Aladdin, Charles River or Allvue Everest.
  • Proficient in Snowflake, Python, SQL, PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Streamlit is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git and with exposure to CI / CD tools (e.g., Github, Docker, Jenkins).
  • Experience with messaging systems across application stack (e.g., Kafka).
  • Strong software experience in developing and a proven track record of delivering full-stack cloud-based applications.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable code and are always looking to improve your engineering skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Both AD (5-10+ years' experience) and Associate (4-7 years' experience) roles available.
