Job Description At SimpleSUB Water, we help multifamily and commercial properties reduce water waste and increase NOI with our over-the-pipe water submetering and billing platform. We are looking to add a Full Stack Engineer to our team to help lead the development of scalable, user friendly and responsive web applications while contributing to backend services when needed. You will work closely with designers, product managers and other developers to build seamless user experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test and maintain front-end applications
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and accessible user interfaces
- Optimize front-end applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross browser compatibility
- Ensure smooth integration with backend API services
- Contribute to design and implementation of backend services in Python when needed
- Utilize cloud services (AWS) for hosting and deployment
- Stay up to date with front-end trends, frameworks, and emerging best practices
Required Qualifications- Experience in full-stack development process and best practices
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, ensuring intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly designs.
- Basic experience with backend development (Python or similar) to support front-end interactions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work collaboratively with a cross-functional development team
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with serverless application development using AWS Lambda
- Experience with database interaction patterns for SQL and NoSQL databases
- API design experience for scalability and ease of use
