Description

Our client in the restaurant technology sector is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team.
Duration: 4-6 Months - 30/40 hours a week Pay Rate: $75 an hour (Depending on experience) Location: 100% Remote
As a Full-Stack Engineer you will have an opportunity to develop interactive web experiences and build and expand on the clients Marketing web properties, focusing on our customer online learning experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication in order to be able to effectively deliver on cross-team marketing initiatives.
  • Develop, test, and deliver clean, production-ready code
  • Ensure technical feasibility of UX/UI designs
  • Build API integrations to fuel content production
  • Build abstract modules/widgets for cross site implementation
  • Build and maintain a clean and lightweight code repository for all production code
  • Be a confident developer, excited by learning new technologies
  • Collaborate with project managers, web team members, and other Toast stakeholders as required
  • Be able to effectively communicate ideas and goals to non-technical stakeholders for any given project

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong experience with React and its ecosystem
  • Experience with Gatsby and its core concepts (e.g., static site generation, GraphQL).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and its utility-first approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • CMS Experience - having integrated website designs with a headless CMS
  • Understanding of REST API usage best practices
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Static site generators like Next.js or Gatsby.js
  • Search engine optimization (SEO) basics
