Our major manufacturing client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team.

We currently have an opening for a Software Engineer in the Process Control Division. As an integral part of this highly skilled, innovative team, you will play a significant role in supporting our digital transformation and system modernization strategy while providing critical services to our production operations. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of digital solutions and process control systems.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to and support our digital transformation
• Contribute to our digital transformation by participating in the design, development, configuration, and deployment of digital solutions
• Participate in, and / or lead high impact projects that provide financial benefits and result in improvements to safety, quality, and / or production yield
• Work closely with the operations teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities; translate into project specifications, including work estimates and forecasted benefits
• Design and maintain highly available and error resistant applications and systems that support Operations
• Play a key role in the new design and maintenance of modern supervisory systems
Required:
Software Engineer / Developer with minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing in Java, C, C , R, and/or Python.
Knowledge of the Visual Studio IDE.
Comfortable with both Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
Development experience in Ignition a plus
Experience with Tableau a plus
Experience with SQL and Oracle a plus
Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting a plus
Effective oral and verbal communication, team player
Initiative to generate improvement ideas
Motivation to maintain a high level of productivity and self-direction
Desire to learn established systems for purposes of modernization and support
