Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a Contract job with a client in McLean, VA (Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications, as well as participating in testing and troubleshooting production issues.

Rate Range: $63/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and align with business requirements.
  • Building and managing front-end applications using React and other modern UI frameworks.
  • Writing and executing automated tests to ensure code quality and application performance.
  • Managing and optimizing databases such as SQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline the integration and deployment process.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments to ensure system stability.
  • Mentoring junior developers and promoting best coding practices across the team.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, particularly React, and relational databases (SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

Pay Details: $63.00 to $67.00 per hour
