We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Stack Developer to lead solution development on our Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS). In this role, you'll architect, design, and deliver scalable commerce solutions that power our omnichannel capabilities-including Click & Collect, Home Delivery, Inventory Optimization, and Returns.
You'll work across a diverse and dynamic environment that's rooted in youth culture, individuality, and a relentless drive to adapt and evolve. REPORTING STRUCTURE:
The Full-stack Developer of Order Management will report directly to the Group Manager of Unified Commence. This role involves significant collaboration with various departments including merchandising, marketing, store, and with external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, build, extend, and test various OMS module enhancements, including Click and Collect Orders, Home Delivery Orders, Inventory Management, Fulfillment Logic, Appeasement and Customer Satisfaction Workflows, and Return and Exchange Orders.
• Capability to integrate Fluent Commerce OMS with diverse supply chain solutions ERP, e-commerce, payment and other third-party services.
• Configure and customize solutions using JSON, REST, and GraphQL APIs to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement software architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices frameworks.
• Build modern, user-centric interfaces using React.
• Create and use CI/CD pipeline applications to develop automated deployment and testing strategies which help facilitate the consistency and reliability of the codebase.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, communicate technical challenges, accurately scope and set clear expectations to ensure projects are delivered on time, under budget, and error free.
• Take part in the planning and architecture of projects by gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, and receiving feedback from business stakeholders.
• Be a team player by performing peer code reviews, assisting teammates on projects, onboarding new employees, and helping teammates sharpen their skillsets.
• Provide proactive and positive support for our production platform and to team members in need, which includes ad-hoc incident resolution, scheduled deployments and being on-call during peak selling periods to maximize business uptime. QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of OMS and e-commerce development.
• Hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce OMS is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in implementing API-first and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and writing quality code that is highly secure, reliable, reusable, scalable, and performant.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in front-end development with React.
• Knowledge of cloud-native solutions and platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with big data processing and analytics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitLab).
• Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs for system integration.
• Expertise in order flow, stock management, and inventory control.
• Experience with payment integration workflows. PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Experience with configuring and scaling Fluent Commerce OMS for enterprise-grade solutions.
• Knowledge of deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent business-facing communication, relationship building, motivational, emotional intelligence, and other interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, analytical, technical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
