Role Overview: The Business Intelligence team is looking to hire a Full-Stack BI Developer. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, designing interactive dashboards, and implementing analytics solutions that drive business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in backend data processing, frontend data visualization, and BI analytics while leveraging platforms like DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, and Looker. This role also requires experience with Prisma for database ORM, GitHub for version control, and CircleCI for CI/CD automation.
This position requires a technical and analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to build scalable BI solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
- Experience with BI tools such as DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Frontend development experience using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, D3.js.
- Backend development expertise in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT workflows, data pipelines, and API integrations.
- Experience with DOMO DataFlows, Workbench, or DOMO Bricks is a plus.
- Proficiency in Prisma ORM for database management.
- Experience with GitHub for version control and CircleCI for CI/CD automation.
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and data storytelling skills.
Backend Development - Design and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for efficient data processing.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud storage.
- Manage and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Develop and automate data workflows using DOMO DataFlows, Python, or Apache Airflow.
- Implement Prisma ORM to manage database interactions efficiently.
- Leverage GitHub for version control and implement CI/CD best practices with CircleCI.
Frontend Development - Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Build custom front-end web applications for business users, leveraging React, Angular, JavaScript, and DOMO Bricks.
- Ensure responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly BI interfaces for stakeholders.
- Develop self-service BI tools that enable teams to explore data without technical dependencies.
Analytics & Business Intelligence - Create advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to extract insights from large datasets.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models to drive decision-making.
- Define and implement KPIs and business metrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Automate reporting and alerting systems to provide real-time business insights.
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure reliability of reports.
