Description:The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking applicants for a tenured faculty position in Finance to be appointed as a Full Professor in Finance and as The Jessica L. Streiffer & Edward L. Streiffer Chair in International Finance. This is a full-time appointment in the Business School's Finance area. The position starts on July 1, 2025. Salary, teaching load, and research support are commensurate with those of similar positions at other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the university.
Tenured faculty teach rigorous and engaging undergraduate and/or graduate courses, produce high quality scholarly engagement activities and publications, actively contribute to the research mission and research culture of the Freeman School, provide academic leadership, and participate in service to the Freeman School and Tulane University.
Qualifications:Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. in Finance or a related discipline and must qualify for tenure and full professor appointment at the Freeman School. We seek collegial candidates with an outstanding publication record in top academic journals, demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching, and an interest in providing academic leadership.
