Summary:

The QA Engineer III for Xpanse should have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to utilize various testing tools and integrate them with JIRA. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly in the mortgage and document processing, BPM Service and Rules Services.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman, ensuring the reliability and performance of our APIs.
  • Manage test cases using Zephyr and integrate testing tools with JIRA for efficient defect tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Setting up roadmaps for automations, optimized testing process and plans.
  • Should be able to design test plans for integrated services to get better quality with optimized delivery timelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolutions.
  • Stay abreast of new testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB for database testing and validation.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Four (4) to (6) years' experience in QA, with a strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and test case management tools like Zephyr.
  • Experience in API testing, particularly with Postman.
  • Strong knowledge of integrating testing tools with JIRA.
  • Experience with MongoDB or similar database technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in mortgage processes, document processing, and rules engines is highly desirable.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
